Delete your Dukanly account
You sign in to Dukanly with your Singnet account — the same account used across all Singnet apps. So you have two choices. Neither needs the app installed.
Keeps your Singnet account active for other apps; deletes your Dukanly shops and their records. Email support@mail.singnet.in from your registered email address (or mentioning your registered mobile number) with the subject “Delete my Dukanly data”. We verify your identity with a one-time passcode before we proceed.
Deletes your identity and personal data across all Singnet apps. Use the Delete your Singnet account page.
Before you ask — three things that are hard to undo
Dukanly holds business records, not just personal ones, and a shop usually has other people attached to it. Please read these before sending the request.
- Your tax invoices are not deleted. A GST tax invoice is a legal document and Indian tax law requires it to be retained. Bills are kept for the statutory period regardless of this request — see What is retained. If you need copies for your own records, export your reports before asking us to delete.
- Your staff lose access with you. If other people bill on a shop you own, deleting it ends their access to it. Tell them first; we will not notify them on your behalf.
- Your udhaar book goes too. Any balance a customer still owes you is in that book and nowhere else. Settle or record what is outstanding before deleting — we cannot restore it afterwards, for you or for them.
What Option 1 deletes
Once verified, we delete or irreversibly anonymise:
- Your Dukanly profile;
- Every shop you own — its name, address, phone number, GSTIN and settings;
- Those shops' catalogues, prices, HSN codes and stock records;
- Those shops' customers, including the names, mobile numbers, credit limits and khata balances you entered for them;
- The staff list for those shops, and their access to them;
- Your billing details with us — plan, cycle and any referral arrangement.
Your Singnet login (name, email, phone, password) is kept so you can keep using other Singnet apps. To remove that too, use Option 2.
Shops you do not own
If you bill on somebody else's shop as staff, deleting your account removes you from it — your access and your name on the staff list. The shop and its records belong to its owner and stay with them, including bills you raised while working there. Those bills are the shop's accounting records, not your personal data.
What is retained, and why
- Tax invoices and the entries behind them, for as long as Indian tax law requires — currently several years from the end of the relevant financial year. This is not something we can waive on request. After that period they are removed.
- Records we are otherwise required to keep for legal or accounting purposes, for the period required;
- Minimal records needed to confirm the deletion itself;
- Security and abuse-prevention logs, for their normal retention period.
If you are a customer of a shop, not a shopkeeper
If a shop has recorded you in its udhaar book and you want that record removed, please ask the shop directly. The record belongs to their book, we have no relationship with you, and only they can judge whether the balance is settled and the entry no longer needed. If you cannot reach them, write to us and we will pass the request on.
Timing
We action verified requests within 30 days. Data in encrypted backups is purged within the backup retention window (up to 30 days), after which it cannot be restored — except for records held under the retention rules above.
